A really wonderful French gentleman turned up about 45 minutes later on, seemed under the bonnet of the car, went and got something with the back of his breakdown truck after which did a 'operating repair' which bought us again the 1,000 miles to residence so we could get a more long-lasting restore from the accelerator cable that had snapped.Itali
